Notes
- Research note: family No. 70 was probably on Neu-Woidoma (Karula), not Alt-Woidoma (1811 numbering; medium). He and Mert were not seen on the Wardja Matzi pages of 1826 and 1834. His death year is not found.
- the research (21 Oct 2026): the Woidoma estates were one estate until their division in 1822 (EAA.1865.3.283/13 img 143), so the 1811 and 1816 lists number both together; Alt-Woidoma's 1826 farms all carry 1816 numbers of 79 or more, so family No. 70 (1816 No. 70–78) was in the Neu-Woidoma block (medium-high). The Neu-Woidoma 1826 and 1834 lists are not in Saaga, and he was not found in the 1816–33 changes list (EAA.1865.3.283/4 img 2–7). Next: the 1850/1858 Karula lists and Viljandi deaths.
- Not to be confused with a younger Matz, Tönnis's son (about 26 in 1826), who moved from Alt- to Neu-Woidoma farm 51 Tesla Jaak and took the surname Jaakson (EAA.1865.3.283/4 img 4).
- Not, after all, the "Matz" of the farm name Wardja Matzi: on one reading his family lived at another farm in 1811, and his son Hans took over Wardja Matzi after its holder Hans (L-038) died in 1813.
